As the 1st reviewer on Openrice on this Pizzeria restaurant, I have got to say I have experienced the peaks and troughs whilst dining here. I think the quality has stabilized more as of late, although the pizzas might need slightly more time in the oven (90 seconds or not is trivial). This is so far the only restaurant in Hong Kong which is trying to emulate a proper Neapolitan/Napoletana pizza in town, using all the correct imported ingredients and dough to make their pizze. Despite not being a current member of the International Italian V.P.N association, they are still modeled around this concept down to the core ingredients and oven set up.
Lunch Antipasti Buffet -
Selections were limited but the quality was good.
Potato with Bacon -
A homely dish, for an antipasti ..
Antipasti Dish -
With Cuttlefish, Artichokes, Bocconcini cheese, Salami and Prosciutto, Lentils, etc.
September Special - Fig, Goats Cheese & Cranberries Pizza
I really liked this combination, especially when Figs season is prime right now.
Cornicone Crust -
I believe the pizza base could be even more baked and puffed up until it is more burnt!
But this is already one of the better
Pizza Margherita -
The San Marzano tomato paste seems to taste a bit different from before, but in a good way as it was quite sweet before! Now seems more balanced. The taste of this was decent, but we thought the base needed more baking to be up to VPN spec !
Pomodoro Uovo -
Poached Organic Egg, ‘nduja, Pecorino Romano and garlic fett’unta !
Yoghurt Gelato, & Pistachio Gelato -
The yoghurt one was tart and refreshing. Pistachio one had the roasted pistachio rather than raw taste, which should suit more people! I’ve always liked the gelati here but it really depends on the flavour ordered.
Seasonal Figs Tart with Vanilla Cream -
Molten Venchi Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream and Rhubarb Compote -
This was quite lava-flowing like, but slightly sweetish.
Baked Apple Tartine with Honey Ginger Ice Cream -
This was from another visit. Kind of miss this, as it was quite good!

This seems like a wonderful place! Never thought about having figs, goatcheese and cranberries on a pizza before - but sounds like an interesting combination. Thanks for sharing!
