Beef & Liberty Wanchai on Star Street just started a new Weekend Brunch BBQ. It is HKD $388 including unlimited Prosecco, Lager Beer and some Cocktails, and I think without drinks it is just HKD $250. Good for spending some time on the Rooftop on a Sat & Sunday. Note that the BBQ Meat selections work on rotation, this week around it was Salmon and also Pork Spare Ribs.
Salad Bar Options -
This was rather impressive. Don't forget Chef Uwe Opocensky and also Chef Marcus Chant from Michelin starred Restaurants in Mandarin Oriental Hotel now work here. Currently the most impressive Salad line up I have seen in Hong Kong, the other one is at Town by Bryan Nagao.
For a Place called Beef & Liberty,
I was so surprised the Weekend Brunch Salads were so thoughtful and worth a trip themselves
Charcoal BBQ Slow Cooked Ribs -
With a good Hot Spice Rub and BBQ sauce, fork tender meat. One of the best Spare ribs I have tried in town, which can't be taken for granted. Both this and dare I say Spaghetti House nowadays, serve the best versions in town, I rate both over Anthony's Ranch in Sai Kung.
Roasted Salmon with a Herbs Coating -
Cooked evenly pink inside, No leaky white albumen too, interesting treatment.
Spare Ribs and Grilled Corn, Coleslaw -
For only HKD $250 or $388 with Free-Flow Drinks and Food, this really represents a great deal and atmosphere for a Weekend activity. Wonder what happens if it rains on the day?
An Oreo Shot - *Not Included
We also tried one of these from the downstairs menu as a sample given out by the Kitchen. Overall despite not making too much noise yet thus far, this Weekend Brunch is already becoming popular. Especially when it is located ideally in the middle of Wanchai and Admiralty, without needing to drive or take a cab all the way to some suburban area or beach and its affordable..
