A brand new SOHO French Bouchon/Bistro restaurant opened by the Dining Concepts group, French Head Chef Jerome Billot has worked in multiple Michelin starred restaurants and also numerous HK French restaurants, before opening his restaurant with the help of Dining Concepts…
Lunch Menu
Baguette and French Butter -
This is definitely not artisanal baguette going by texture,
and its served warm-ish here
Country Pate with Cornichons -
This is spelt as ‘county pate’ on both the Set and a la carte menu, so its a bit… wrong? Not sure.
Its hard to make a bad country pate, so this is passable but doesn’t smell as good as the best ones or may be is slightly too dense ~ 6.5/10
Dijon Mustard and Fleur de Sel salt for the next dish…
Steak Tartare -
Spelt as ‘steak tartar’, the spellings are worst than mine and right up there with GOLD’s menu!
However this was made really well and tastes just as you will find them in Paris. Served with very good pomme frites which are hand made and well fried ~ 9/10
Chunky and tasty grounded beef, lightly seasoned and mixed with 3 types of fresh herbs and pickles and capers and a raw egg, very addictive
This tasted like its authentic French, just like those Parisian bistro’s and bouchon’s,
in fact the food tasted better than Pastis in my opinion.

I had the steak tartare too, and it was pretty decent. What I really liked was the Pot au feu though!
