Straits Café - (Melbourne)

This shop makes one of the more gorgeous Penang style Prawn Har Mee,  you can literally smell the prawn essence from outside.   There are a few shops in Melbourne which does a decent version,  but Straits Café is going to be the benchmark for them all to beat.  It is a very well known shop amongst the circle of Malaysian foodies (including non bloggers) over here!  Just look at the colour of that soup!

Penang Har Mee/Meen -
That broth has a lot of prawn and other ingredients put into it.  The pork rib slices are ok,  the prawns are fresh enough.  It’s the soup that matters the most -  and it is seriously potent !  ~  8.5/10

A mixture of Vermicelli and Egg Noodles -
Their 3 different types of Laksa are also famous,
but when it comes to Laksa’s,  I have other options to visit I think? ! : D
