There are numerous new openings in AEON Taikoo after the recent renovation. Fari-Beurre from Tokyo's fame also opened up here, being its first Overseas shop. Dessert was exactly what I needed!
Orange and Custard Tart - $28 for Small
It's interesting because all the pastries can come in Big or Smaller sizes, with a HKD $10 difference. The Orange Custard tart I ordered, was sweeter than I envisaged. The buttery 'beurre' pastry base was a little stale soft too, although with the high humidity in HK this is probably expected anyway ~ 7/10
Cakes Display Looking Pretty -
The HK outlet of Fari-Beurre is looked after by the Italian Tomato group, so you can see cakes from both shops for sale here. If they fix the humidity issue, I think they could be onto a winner !
