This traditional style Tofu shop has existed for many decades, and is one of the rarest yet well-known traditional finds in HK. Most of the late comers or franchised shops just don’t seem to get it very right. After trying out most of the oldest shops numerous times, I think I would easily put this into my Top 3 Tofu Shops list. The tofu here gets the right balance between being ‘silkily smooth’ and also retainaining some beans taste unlike many of its other competitors. *The best one is still 阿婆豆腐花 by a large margin, but that shop is quite far away in Tai Po.
Soy Milk is a little thinnish and bland here, but surprisingly the Tofu-Fa (ordered warm) is smooth and glides down the throat, retaining just a hint of beans taste, even if it requires a little stretching of imagination before you can detect it ~ 7/10
